Culinary Concoctions

It's raining.

....

NONSENSE!!

AND I'M HUNGRY!! AND I HAVE NO BREAD!! JUST BOCA BURGERS!

DO YOU KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS?!!

Now is not the time for hunger. That comes later.

I'm feeling cheap, and too lazy to order. I have an egg, boca burgers, and some cheese. Somehow that turned into this:

It looks good doesn't it? Yes - this is what I call a Fatima Culinary Concoction.

Sometimes you can't go out and eat or you're waaaay too hungry to wait for anything. This happens quite frequently with me. I have made it a habit to put random things together, this sometimes results in magic or in some cases utter failure.

Examples of this include:

The time I added feta cheese with my nutella sandwich because I had no peanut butter and wanted something other than chocolate on my sandwich. Many have told me that it sounds gross but honestly I like cheese with sweet - I THINK IT WORKS DAMN IT. My taste buds did not lie to me.
But imagine it!

mmmm TASTY.

A failed example in my book looked something like this:

This turned out very filling and to be honest just gross in general. Maybe I should have added some good spices to smooth it over but it was overly tuna-ey and I started to feel like I was stuffing myself for the sake of  feeling full.

The list goes on really...

There was this one time I combined a banana, date syrup/molasses, and vanilla ice cream together. (Although that's not weird to be quite honest) but it tasted great!

A failed experiment was when I tried to make split pea soup and I added frozen squash and pumpkin. GAG that turned out to be something of vomit proportions. I tried to mask it with pepper and chili flakes but that just made it spicy AND nauseating. I'm sure an amazing chef would make it work somehow but for me it tasted like badly blended baby food.

Oh this? This was a moment of weakness on my part. It happens.. to all of us..
